deckstr uses artificial intelligence to generate flashcards from the topics users enter. Because generated content can sometimes be incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate, we use this page to explain the safeguards, limitations, and reporting options available to users.

What AI Generates

• Study content intended to help with revision and recall

AI-generated flashcards are designed as study aids. They are not authoritative course materials, professional advice, or guaranteed curriculum matches.

Important Limitations

• AI-generated flashcards may contain factual mistakes, outdated information, or incomplete explanations
• Generated content may not match the exact terminology, syllabus, or exam style used by your school, course, or qualification
• Users should verify important information with textbooks, official course resources, or qualified instructors

Safety Guardrails

deckstr aims to reduce unsafe or inappropriate outputs by applying topic and content restrictions. This includes efforts to limit content that is abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate for the app.

No automated system is perfect, and some problematic content may still get through. If that happens, please report it.

Reporting AI-Generated Content

If you see a flashcard that is offensive, unsafe, deceptive, or clearly incorrect, you can report it:

• In the app, using the reporting or support options available to you
• On our Support page
• By emailing support@deckstr.uk with the subject line “AI Content Report”

When reporting content, include the topic, a screenshot if possible, and a short explanation of the issue. This helps us review the content faster.

How We Use Reports

We may use content reports to:

• investigate safety issues
• improve prompt controls and moderation filters
• reduce the chance of similar problematic outputs appearing again
• respond to users who need support

User Responsibilities

By using deckstr, you agree not to use the app to try to generate content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, or otherwise harmful.

We may limit access, suspend accounts, or remove content if users attempt to misuse the AI features.
